Name

snapshift - shifts the phase space coordinates of an N-body system

Synopsis

snapshift in=snap_in out=snap_out [parameter=value]

Description

This program shifts the coordinates of all the particles in phase space. Position and velocity are treated separately however.

Note: The shifted coordinates is added to the existing coordinates unless the mode keyword is set to add

Parameters

The following parameters are recognized in any order if the keyword is also given:
in=in-file
input file, in snapshot(5NEMO) format [no default]
out=out_file
output file, in snapshot(5NEMO) format [no default]
rshift=x,y,z
The shift in position space [default: 0,0,0].
vshift=u,v,w
The shift in velocity space [default: 0,0,0].
times=time-ranges
Only snapshots with time values within times-ranges, which is of the form ts[:te],..., will be copied. [default: all].
mode=add|+|sub|-
Shift mode, if the shifted coordinates are to be added (+) or subtracted (-) to the particles coordinates. [Default: add].
