bwsel - Select records based on their wideband bandwidth
BWSEL is a MIRIAD task which selects data based on a requested
bandwidth. Notice that if data is selected, ALL channel and wide
band data are copied, not just the windows selected. Use UVCAT
with select=win(N) instead, if you need to select only certain windows.
If data has changing number of spectral windows (nspect) or has
no channel data, program will skip copying those data with a warning.
The names of the input uv data sets. Multiple names can be given,
separated by commas. At least one name must be given.
A set of bandwidths, in MHz, in order for a record to be copied.
Use a 0 if no match is needed. Multiple non-zero values need to be
all matched, i.e. non-zero BW selections are logically ANDed.
Default: all records.
Fraction of frequency within which the bandwith should be to be selected.
If set to non-zero, this will be forced to be the number of spectral
windows required for copied records. This option was added to work
around datasets where nspect was varying and the first record was
The name of the output uv data set. If none supplied, input dataset
is scanned and reports bandwidths (in MHz) where the dataset changes.
